I check the clock. 11:00, it says. I tiptoe to my parents' room. I slowly open the door and see them asleep. I then creep down the stairs and grab my keys. I successfully leave the house with my backpack, filled with items needed for survival. The forest is pretty big, it's about twice the size of the city.
I silently climb over the fence and sprint into the forest. I wait until I see the tree that looks like a saluting man, make a left, and after 7 paces turn right. I see Luke in the small clearing we found a few months back. He's set up camp, with a plastic sheet spread over the soft grass. He has a solar-powered lantern with him.

I stroll down the halls, to meet up with my best bro Jamie and his hot girlfriend Lucy. Yes, I'm gay, but that doesn't matter. I'm the fun-loving party-going prankster of Rosendale High. Jamie and Lucy are seniors, and Lucy is straight, not like I have a chance with her. Jamie and I have been best friends since forever, even though we're a year apart.
Jamie pulls me aside. "Hey, Ollie, couldja do me a favour? Lucy's been up to some funny business lately, could she be cheating? Just spy on her for me."
"Um, ok? I guess."
"Don't do anything too risky!"
I walk out the door.
:Hannah:
"Honestly, Ethan, I don't get you."

I might get made fun of it, but I love being a drama geek. I love acting, and Mr. Q just announced that we're doing a new project. It's titled "Pyramus and Thisbe", and it's supposed to be set way back when. I love plays that are set way back when.
" Ian, can you play Pyramus?"
I know most drama clubs have casting, but our group is so small we are just assigned our parts. Also because we have been around since freshman year, and Mr. Q know our personalities well.
"Sure, what's Pyramus?"
"A guy who commits suicide for love."
Ah, cliché play characters. Can't get enough!
"Ava, can you play Thisbe?"
Ava is my fellow drama geek

I wish Mom would just accept the fact that me and Luke love each other. Today I invited him over for dinner, and so far it's been a disaster. First, my brother Conor and his girlfriend, Jenna (who also happens to be my best friend Hannah's sister, lucky for me) announced that they will be hosting Junior Prom this year, and Mom just, in front of Luke (!!!), said, "You and Ethan will be going together, right?".
Luke stayed quiet for the rest of dinner. Mom kept on talking about Ethan. Ugh. Hannah was shifting in her seat, a bit uncomfortable since she is obsessed with Ethan. In sophomore year we always came up with stories of me and

ugh. today was such a "meh" day. a "blah" day. i'm not even capitalising. well. i feel like making an animation. obviously not now, it's 10:30 at night. but yeah. this should probably count as a status update. whatever. i'll just talk a bit and then sleep. or at least try to sleep. i can never sleep these days anyway. right now i'm listening to echosmith. i love them, but they have their flaws. nobody's perfect, though. i love tove lo too. she's beautiful and really shows emotion in her music. i should probably go now... i need to wake up early tomorrow
